It’s TIME – Time to Plan for the Holidays at the Disney World

We are just over halfway to Christmas, and Disney has just provided details on their holiday offerings.

Disney World will continue to host two holiday parties on select nights:

·       Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom

·       Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

You may be surprised to hear, but this party has been around since 1983! It has definitely changed shape over the years, but this party continues to be a guest favorite and one of the only times where it will snow on Main Street USA. It’s truly a magical experience.

This is a separately ticketed event, and the party officially starts at 7pm and goes until midnight. You can enter the park as early as 4pm with only your party ticket.

At this party, you’ll get to meet exclusive holiday-themed characters such as Anna and Elsa in their Christmas attire, Sally and Santa Jack, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their finest holiday looks.

Additionally, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade will enchant guests nightly with holiday themed characters, dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers, and will culminate with an appearance of Santa himself. The parade route will go from Frontierland through Liberty Square, around the hub, and finally down Main Street USA.

Each party night, Minnie Mouse will take over for the nighttime spectacular Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration will be performed in front of the castle.

All are invited to ring in the season with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies at Cinderella Castle as it transforms into a frozen wonderland during the Frozen Holiday Surprise.

But the dazzling entertainment doesn’t stop there. Party guests will also show off jingle bell rock moves at multiple dance parties featuring holiday friends:

  • Club Tinsel at Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland

  • Disney Junior Jingle Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland

Want more than just holiday surprises at Magic Kingdom? Most attractions will also be open with lower wait times due to limited crowds during the party.
